Shyloh

Beauty wrapped
In silk and lace,
The warm fire
Tickles the room in light.
Her hand curled tender
‘Round the porcelain mug
And all the while,
Great miles apart,
His days, float into wonder.

Even if
Never more,
Where the two paths crossed,
A grand bouquet
Grew,
And filled the forest,
A heavenly perfume.

i love your opening lines beauty wrapped in silk and lace...opening lines that truly bring in the image of shyloh. and all the while, great miles apart, his days, float into wonder...what a lovely picture of her effect on you even from a distance...

These words still do not do her justice but I'm glad you enjoy them.
