The Traceless Poet

Heavy snow punches evergreen pines;
There is no violence.
A sudden bouquet
rises from the Universe
and my search is quenched.
Freely, I still leave footprints;
Time buries me away.

Troy, it has been some time since I have read your poetry. I am pleased to say you haven't lost your touch at all. I love the sound I hear when I read this poem...snow can be very violent, yet time even more so.

I glad you enjoyed this one Stan. It's one of my own favorites.

Looks like you haven't posted for a while yourself - get to it! The world needs more poetry!
